Meeting in Solidarity Jan. 11 at 11 am with  Chief Spence and all leaders.

All invited to meet at 11 am at Peace Flame on Parliament Hill
Create Circle of Gratitude that today will be start of many meetings of listening.

This continued visible support for indigenous people in our area particularly as it relates to people coming now from all parts of Canada to be on the hill supporting the power of listening.
We are asking people to send letters, prayers, donations or to fast Friday in solidarity with Chief Spence.

Those wishing to make a monetary contribution to support this process of listening in solidarity to Aboriginal people by our PM and Gov. General. Continuing the process we are all in of lighting the 8 th fire of Right Relationship in mutual respect with the power of listening and justice that empower peace.

Join the many walking now to Ottawa from many parts of Canada to honour that at this time in Canada’s healing and history the voices of compassion and care are being heard.. we are writing letters and holding space for our MP and our representative of the Crown our Governor General to begin the process of many meetings beginning from the first on Jan. 11, 2013. To the process begun of listening to Chiefs from across Canada and to hear the voices of the indigenous elders.. as we all awaken to new choices in which Canada as a nation can be a way shower of the future.as

we write a new chapter in Canada’s journey of healing and walking more justly on the sacred land of the Algonquin nation and the lands of our First Nation, Inuit and Metis people. If anyone needs accommodation for two nights this weekend or if you can billet people in the next week arriving from many parts of Canada or bring food, water, wood, blankets and donations of money they are always needed at Victoria Island. Many will be walking from Victoria Island this Friday in solidarity with Aboriginal leaders from 6 am to 5 pm the voices of many will be visible.

I am writing you today to express my strong opposition to your government’s current agenda of legislation and policy as it pertains
to First Nations rights. I am referring to the following:

Bill C-45: Jobs and Growth Act, 2012 [Omnibus Bill includes Indian Act amendments regarding voting on-reserve lands surrenders/
